  • The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson welcomes the return of its Lunch & Learn series of meetings for 2007-2008. There is no charge to attend any of the meetings, although if you would like to eat lunch you will need to pay $10 at the door and RSVP to Carol B. Penick at 601-974-6044. The next presentation is “The Condition of Childcare in Mississippi” in The Clarion Ledger community room on Nov. 15. Also coming up is “Mississippi Women: Where We Are & Where We Need to Go” at the Jackson Medical Mall on Jan. 17. The series is sponsored by St. Dominic Health Services.


    Community Foundation hosts Annual Membership Party

    The Community Foundation of Greater Jackson recently held its Annual Membership Party at the new Mississippi Craft Center in Ridgeland. Foundation members were updated on Foundation activities and progress for the past year. Shown are scenes from the event.
